Back In Avenel
Geranium, Clary Sage and Patchouli. Back in Avenel is inspired by the history of Village Common. Grandma Bernadette opened her first market in Avenel, NJ in 1968. Drawing on family memories of the Avenel Market, the fresh scent of geraniums filling the market air conjured unforgettable images of Village Common’s rich history.
Bergamot, Vetiver and Parsley Seed. Chisos (7825) is inspired by a 3 day, 20 mile, life changing hike through the Chisos Mountain range of South West Texas. The artisans hiked to the highest point in the Chisos Mountains, Emory Peak, topping out at 7825 feet above sea level. This scent is meant to capture the beauty & inspiration they found in the desert landscape.
South of Monterey
Eucalyptus, Basil and Lavender. South of Monterey is inspired by the coast of California, specifically Big Sur, Monterey & the Eucalyptus trees that have claimed the land as their own. The combination of these three scents is meant to conjure the essence of California dreaming.
Cypress, Rosewood, Rosemary. Sweet Atchafalaya is inspired by the Atchafalaya River Basin in Louisiana, the heritage of Cajun culture & the roots of Village Common’s southern family, the Hays’. Sweet Atchafalaya is a light scent that lingers like an afternoon drifting through Louisiana’s wetlands.
